He emphasised on the rural development .He was a great personality” said Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr.Veerendra Hegde. He was addressing after inaugurating 100th birth anniversary of Yedthere Manjayya Shetty celebration organized by Yedthere Manjayya Shetty Janmashathamahotsava committee on Nov.9 at Kundapur R.N.Shetty Auditorium.
“Beauty is not existing in the outlook of a person. The real beauty lies from inside. That attractive personality existed in Yedthere Manjayya Shetty. He was carrying the dreams of social developments. He utilized the available opportunities to serve the people at that time when there was poverty and lack of opportunities. We should develop such kind of ideology” he said.
Udupi dist.development minister Vinaykumar Sorake said “Yedthere Manjayya Shetty is an example for us for serving the society. He was elected as MLA three times and once MLC unopposed. He is an inspiration for all of us”.
MP Jayaprakash Hegde inaugurated memorial edition of Yedthere Manjayya Shetty. Bangalore businessman Dr.R.N.Shetty laid the foundation stone for ‘Yedthere Manjayya Shetty Memorial Arts Auditorium’.
