Udupi:NOv.09:’Jamiyyatul Falah’ Udupi has organized ‘Eid Get together’ party on the occasion of its silver jubilee celebrations at Kidiyoor Hotel’s ‘Pavan rooftop Hall’ on Friday. Prominent religious and political leaders were present on the occasion. The programme started with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Qura’an.
Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Puttige Mat,the chief guest of the programme addressing the function said “Superstitions are not the part of any religion. Atheists give rise to superstitions. People who love and fear God,do not practice superstitions. Eliminating the atheism should be the main aim of all the religions. There are number of people from different religions who have deep concerns towards the society and take care of it. Let Eid celebration unite us in the bond of love and brotherhood” he said.
Fa.William Martis addressing the function said “Every individual belives in one God but worship his many forms. Being the creation of the Creator,we should live with love and peace”.
‘Shanthi Prakashana’ Manager Mohammed Kunhi said “Festivals of all the religion were celebrated in a festive mood in olden days but today we are facing communal imbalance. Different religions are being labelled with different colours for personal intentions. Let us forget the indifferences and live as solemn devotees of the Almight God”.
